The questions it asks, in order

Built from how cleaning calls really go. Every question has a reason, and it skips anything the caller already said.

Quick mode (price quote):

  1. "Thanks for calling company_name. Are you looking for a price on a home cleaning?"
  2. "Is the home in service_area?"
  3. "How many bedrooms and bathrooms?"
  4. "About how many square feet, if you know?"
  5. "Is this a regular clean, a deep clean, or move-out?"
  6. "Would you like it every week, every two weeks, or one time?"
  7. "Any pets?"
  8. "For that home, a clean_type is price_or_range. frequency service is recurring_price. Want the first open slot, slot?"
  9. "Best name, number and address? Okay to text the confirmation and payment link?"

White Glove:

  • "Tell me about your home and what would make the biggest difference for you."
  • "Any rooms you'd like us to focus on, or anything we should skip?"
  • "How will our team get in? Many clients use a lockbox or code."
  • Full read-back of address, date, window, price, entry and pets.

Calls it handles

  1. Price quote. Wants a number now. Agent asks bedrooms, bathrooms, approx. square feet, type of clean, condition, pets. Gives price from rate table or range; books.
  2. Book a first clean. Picks date/time window, address, entry method; sends confirmation and payment link.
  3. Start recurring service. Frequency, preferred day; explains first clean is usually a deep clean if that's policy.
  4. Move-out / move-in cleaning. Date-sensitive; checks availability; notes empty home.
  5. Reschedule, skip or vacation pause. Applies notice policy; confirms by text.
  6. Commercial walkthrough request. Business type, size, frequency, hours; books walkthrough.
  7. Complaint / re-clean request. Logs details and photos; routes per guarantee.
  8. Damage or missing item report. Takes details; hands off to owner.
  9. Are you insured / background checked?
  10. Job applicant.

Safety comes first

  • Cleaner or client hurt / chemical splash in eyes / someone feels sick from fumes: "Call 911 if it's serious. For chemical exposure, Poison Control is 1-800-222-1222." Alert owner.
  • Never mix bleach and ammonia - if caller says a crew mixed chemicals and there are fumes: "Leave the room, get fresh air, call 911 if anyone has trouble breathing."
  • Water leak, gas smell or fire found at a client home: "Leave and call 911 (or the gas utility for a gas smell)." Alert owner.
  • Crew locked out / client home alarm going off: alert owner; give client's alarm instructions only to verified crew lead.
  • Theft or damage accusation: take details, no admission, alert owner.
  • Urgent text: "URGENT company_name: type. address. Caller number. time."

What it will never do

  • Never give a price outside the owner's rate table; use "estimate, confirmed on arrival" if the home's condition is unknown.
  • Never take card numbers by voice (PCI DSS). Stripe link only.
  • Never read back or text door codes, alarm codes or key locations to anyone except a verified crew lead; never store them in the call summary.
  • Never admit fault or promise reimbursement for damage/theft; owner handles claims.
  • Never promise a specific cleaner unless the owner allows it.
  • Never accept biohazard or mold work unless offered; refer to owner.
  • Never give health advice about chemicals beyond the safety lines above.
  • Never screen or price clients by race, religion, national origin, disability or other protected traits (state anti-discrimination laws vary; stay neutral).
  • TCPA: consent before texting; marketing needs opt-in; honor STOP.
